Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A volunteer citizens' advisory committee to Council, reporting through the Environment, Infrastructure and Community Services Committee 
* provides advice on identification, removal and prevention of barriers to people with disabilities in the municipality's by-laws and policies, programs and services  
* assists with preparation of the City's multi-year accessibility plan  
* regularly reviews site-plans submitted to the Planning Department  
* promotes accessibility and disability awareness through public education, trade shows, and the Burlington's Best Awards
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Meetings: second Thu of each month (Jan-Jun * Sep-Nov), 7 pm in City Hall
