Oakville's extensive Lake Ontario shoreline includes two harbours: Bronte Harbour on Bronte Creek, and Oakville Harbour on Sixteen Mile Creek, located near the downtown core 
 
The town owns and operates the Bronte Inner Harbour, Bronte Outer Harbour and Oakville Harbour, accommodating several hundred sail and power boats as well as recreational facilities
  • mooring docks and slips are available for rent on a seasonal basis  
  • main docks are six feet wide - with fully serviced finger docks  
  • Mediterranean-type moorings  
  • charges based on the running length of the boat  
  • launching ramps provided in each harbour 
  • applications for mooring slips are due in mid-January
Oakville Harbours provide:
  • water (non-potable) 
  • electrical services  
  • pump-outs  
  • launch services  
  • winter storage  
  • mast stepping/unstepping  
  • haul-out services
