| Description | Dedicated to assisting persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence, self reliance and full community participation. Services include: Peer Support Programs * link individuals and families with CPA Ontario's Peer Support volunteers for mutual support Outreach Attendant Services Program * a community based non-medical service which is available to contribute to the independence of adults with a physical disability Regional Services Coordinators * personal and family counselling and coordinating services to help with locating and adapting housing * to provide financial counselling * to give information on products and services, and to provide support Membership Services * CPA Ontario provides benefits such as discounts and newsletter subscriptions to those who join Employment Services * provides employment support to persons with disabilities as well as to employers Information Services * an information officer will answer questions on a wide range of topics pertaining to physical disabilities: travel, sexuality, health and fitness, recreation, sports, home modifications, vehicle modifications | ||
