Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Committee promotes the conservation of buildings that have architectural and historical significance.  
* has created an inventory of historical homes within the city and develops detailed resumes of properties which may be worthy of designation  
* acts as an advisory committee to Council and comments on applications to renovate or restore historic properties  
* also hosts an annual Heritage Awards evening

Online database contains: 
* information, photographs and maps for both designated and non-designated properties in the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Resources 
* allows the addition and discussion of local properties in unofficial listings submitted by residents, interested citizens and tourists based on their experiences and knowledge.
