Comments | The Bronte Historical Society is a volunteer-run, charitable organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Bronte's past. The Society manages Historic Sovereign House located at 7 West River Street, Bronte. The Society manages the property, along with the help of the Town of Oakville and the Bronte Horticultural Society, which looks after our beautiful gardens. The Society manages the interior of Sovereign House. The House is open to the public on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1-4 pm for visitors to come in for a self-guided tour. |

Duties | The Maintenance Manager would ensure that things are in working order at Sovereign House. The Maintenance Manager would be responsible for fixing anything within the interior of the House. He/she would coordinate with the Town of Oakville/Bronte Horticultural Society to make sure everything is working properly and maintain a schedule of when items need to be fixed. Sovereign House is open May to October. |
