DescriptionThe Waldie Blacksmith Shop is a living history museum that is dedicated to preserving the history of blacksmithing, not only as a profession, but also within the region of Milton and Halton 
Programs: 
- curriculum based tours for Grade 3's 4' 
- special programs re: beginner blacksmith classes, Milton history lectures,Walking Tours,Special Events-Mayors Levee each yr, Heritage Awards each Feb. etc. 
- Carriage Shop available for meetings etc. 
- Publish various history books on Milton 
- Monthly meetings:3rd Thur, 8pm except July/Aug. 
- Alex Cooke Memorial Archives available by appoint. for reseaching Milton's History or Wed and Sat 10am-12 noon

HoursWed & Sat.9:30am-12noon archives open -yr round; 
Wed & Sat 10am-3pm shop open spring,summer,fall 
Sat. 10am-3pm shop open winter 
or by appointment 
Hrs change by season so check the web site as required 
Groups of 5 or more are requested to provide advance  
notice. 
Blacksmiths usually working at the forge.
Meeting DetailsThe Societies General Meetings are held the 3rd Thur. of each Month except July and Aug. Doors open at 7:30, meeting starts at 8pm 
Everyone is welcome!
