Description and Service Details
Description (Service) HIV/AIDS education, prevention and support * HIV and STI 101 (sexually transmitted infections) * community workshops and forums, outreach, training for professionals and organizations, culturally specific materials * prevention programs for youth, women and gay, bisexual, queer, questioning, trans* and other men who have sex with men (MSM) * community-based * volunteer opportunities

Community Outreach Program -- focus on heterosexual youth and adults * sexual health awareness and education, and harm reduction

Harm Reduction -- inhalation and injection kit exchange, street outreach * drop-in for substance using and under-housed individuals * school and community-based workshops on harm reduction and substance use

Support Programs -- counselling and support for Black people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, including referrals, practical assistance, home and hospital visits, emergency financial assistance, treatment, support groups * housing and employment support * youth program

Settlement Program -- counselling, support, outreach and prevention for Black, African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees, including LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning) individuals * Refugee Settlement Progam -- orientation, information and referrals, and assistance accessing services * assistance with immigration system * practical supports such as accompaniment to appointments, form and documentation completion and emergency financial assistance * housing and employment help * assistance in finding a doctor and living with treatment * language and skills development * interpretation and translation * social opportunities
