Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills * helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence 
* participants work at own pace towards employment, education or personal goals, in a supportive, comfortable learning environment  
* free assessment service  
* daytime and evening classes  
* this is an Employment Ontario Program funded by the Ontario government 
Also academic upgrading services to help individuals develop the necessary skills for entry into college-based post-secondary education and training programs (such as apprenticeship).
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-6 pm 
Classes: Mon, Wed 9 am-12 noon * Tue, Thu 5 pm-8 pm

Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) and up 
Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum * must have facility in English
