Volunteers Clinics do not complete returns for tax situations involving any of the following:

  • self-employment income or employment expenses
  • business or rental income and expenses
  • interest income over $1,000
  • capital gains or losses
  • foreign property (T1135)
  • bankruptcy in the tax year (or the year before, if that return has not yet been filed)
  • deceased persons
  • foreign property

2024 clinics are still being organized, information will be added to this listing as it becomes available

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) free tax clinics will be held in March and April 2024 (for 2023 tax year)

  • for those with simple tax situations and modest income (for details see 'Eligibility' below)
