| Description | The Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC) is Canada’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients and increasing awareness and educating the public about prevention and treatment of this deadly disease. It is comprised of volunteers, members, and management led by a board of directors. An expert medical advisory board of professionals in the field of colorectal cancer provides counsel to the CCAC to ensure members are kept abreast of the latest medical advances in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. As a patient-based organization, they understand the needs of those diagnosed with colorectal cancer and their families. Compassion, knowledge and understanding are offered through support groups across the country, connecting patients, survivors, and caregivers. | ||
