Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A welcoming community supporting each other through programs and resources to build friendships, strengthen each other, and create healthy neighbourhoods.  
 
Parent programs and support groups include: 
* parent & child drop in programs, Monday to Friday 
* Babytime with Library and Public Health Nurse visitors 
* Babywearing group 
* Mums Overcoming Mental Illness (MOMI) - peer to peer support group for Mums struggling with mental health issues  
* parent & child resource library & materials 
* Spanish, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian programs 
* financial literacy & utility payments 
* new immigrant support group 
* women's support group 
* Halton Down Syndrome
Hours Vary with program; 
MOMI - 1st and 3rd Mon of the month 1:30 pm-3 pm
Areas Served Oakville
Eligibility Primarily for families who live in North Oakville, although everyone is welcome.

Fees Membership - $60 a year or $2 a week * waived on request
