Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Offer a home-based early childhood education program that teaches parents to be their preschool child's first teacher and prepares their 3, 4 and 5 year old children for success in school. 
* Home Visitors meet weekly with parents in their own homes (in Oakville, Milton and Burlington) to role play the 30 week research-based curriculum using Canadian materials to teach pre-reading, pre-writing and pre-math skills 
* parents are supported by their Home Visitors and by the activity packets that make learning and play fun 
* 2 group meetings are held each month for mothers with guest speakers to discuss parenting topics, while their children participate in an Early Childhood Education program
Hours Group meetings for caregivers and children (call for hours): 
* every second Tue morning at Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre  
* every second Mon morning at Viola Desmond Public School in Milton
