Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Basic English (full time and part time) 
Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC): 
* a course for newcomers to Canada who need basic introductory training to develop speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar 
* available at campuses in Brampton, Mississauga and Oakville 
* 14-week program 
* various starting dates throughout the year 
Workplace English and Job Preparation 
Occupation Specific Language Training (OSLT):  
* a program for people who are educated and trained in their home country, and need to improve business English communication skills like speaking, reading and writing specific to their profession 
* improves ability to get a job in Canada with workplace-specific vocabulary training 
* develops strong interviewing, networking and communication skills 
* teaches career-specific English language and Canadian culture in areas such as Health sciences, Business/Accounting and Technology professions  
* flexible class times: evening and online courses allows students to fit education around work and other life responsibilities  
* minimum CLB test score 6 or 7 to qualify 
Enhanced Language Training (ELT): 
* a program for people who are educated and trained in their home country, and need to improve English language skills, and who would benefit from a job placement to gain Canadian work experience 
* full-time day program: 10 weeks in class, 8 week job placement  
* minimum post-secondary degree or diploma and relevant work experience in home country required

* Continuing and Professional Studies 
* English as a Second Language full-time program for college entrance (PGASE)
