Description and Service Details
Description (Service) An organization which offers advocacy, education and citizen engagement for a sustainable, healthy, natural environment and community. 
 
* helps to restore natural areas, increase naturalization of public spaces, increase diversity in urban forest canopy 
* assist schools in providing shade for students by planting trees and naturalizing outdoor spaces 
* offers subsidized backyard tree planting program to Oakville residents 
* partners with community groups, schools and businesses on projects 
* planted more than 18,000 native trees and bushes and three wildflower gardens 
 
* sites for plantings determined in consultation with Town of Oakville 
* residents invited to make suggestions to Oakvillegreen about areas that need attention 
* opportunities for weekday corporate tree planting, nature walks, Lunch & Learn
