Description and Service Details
Description (Service) The annual event on New Year's Day raises money for water projects through World Vision Canada. 
* celebrating 35 years  
* 700 dippers and 5000 spectators at Bronte Beach Park in Oakville  
* free to attend, $25 registration fee for dippers  
* participants receive a free gift bag, certificate and t-shirt and are encouraged to raise money through pledges
Hours Starts at 12:30 pm with registration and live music 
* costume contest at 1:15 pm 
* prize draws at 1:55 pm 
* dip at 2 pm sharp
Areas Served Halton Region ; Peel Region
Eligibility No restrictions however dippers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver
Application Register online, download a registration form, or register on the day of the Dip

Fees Donation - dippers receive an official Polar Bear Dip T-shirt, certificate and swag bag
Transportation Free shuttle bus available at South Oakville Centre (formerly Hopedale Mall)
