Description (Service) A branch of Oakville Public Library which offers a variety of services for those with special needs, including: 
 
Homebound Delivery Service  
* home delivery of library materials to those who cannot access the library services in the conventional manner 
 
Talking Book Service  
Registration for this service is restricted to persons who have a print disability due to: 
* visual impairment 
* physical handicap 
* perceptual problem 
* learning disability 
 
Special Reading Aids 
* Kurzweil Reading Machines available at Woodside * also at Central and Iroquois Ridge branches 
* ZoomText: a screen magnification software that allows customers to view the library catalogue and the internet in large print available at Woodside * also at Central and Iroquois Ridge branches 
* SmartView: a magnifier that enhances all reading materials (magazines, newspapers, photographs, bills ) is available at the Woodside Branch only 
* VictorReader: a Daisy disc player 
 
Through a partnership with the CNIB/CELA library, Woodside is able to access the collections and services of the CNIB/CELA library on behalf of CNIB/CELA clients and Special Needs customers. Collections of the CNIB/CELA library include Braille, Talking Books and magazines, electronic text and descriptive videos.
