Description and Service Details
Description (Service) A MCYS-licensed residential program for male-identified youth.  
Services offered support youth experiencing a variety of challenges, including social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health in an environment that promotes safety, belonging, and acceptance. 
Services include: 
* 24-hour staffing 
* Case Manager assigned to each family 
* On-site Child and Youth Therapeutic Recreationist responsible for planning and implementing therapeutic activities based on treatment goals and Skills for Life, with support from the Mental Health Clinician 
* Daily programming focused on teaching distress tolerance, emotional regulation and activities of daily living. Programming also utilizes community resources e.g. Rec centres, YMCA, Conservation areas, libraries 
* On-site Mental Health Clinician that meets with youth and parents/guardians, completes mental health assessments and conducts Family Education sessions based on Skills for Life. Family therapy is offered based on need 
* Access to consulting Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists through Good Shepherd Youth Services, as well as a Nurse Practitioner for general health needs 
* Youth attend local community schools
