Public Comments Rural Transportation Program Expansion - pilot program launched by the County of Wellington on Mar 1 (to the end of 2017) to serve low income Erin and Guelph-Eramosa residents ages 18-64. Service is provided by East Wellington Community Services and the cost is covered by County of Wellington funding. 
 
Eligible ride destinations are limited to appointments for medical, social services, and legal reasons * rides are also provided to support clients in finding employment, access personal counselling, participate in educational, life skills and day programs, and to access emergency supports 
**To book a ride, call 519-856-2113 at least two business days prior to appointment 
 
EWCS also offers user-pay transportation for those 65 years and older to attend medical or therapeutic appointments. See Seniors Transportation Services

Seniors * Adult Day Services for frail seniors and those with cognitive impairments (wheelchair accessible transportation available) * social and recreational health and wellness programs * seniors information directory * program calendar on website

Erin and Rockwood Food Bank
* food assistance for families experiencing a crisis; hampers of food and toys distributed at Christmas

* New To You store - gently-used clothing and small toys

* Bookends - sells gently-read books (no magazines)
