Description and Service Details
Description (Service) To date, nearly 20,770 kilometres of the Trail are connected (87 percent of the proposed route). 
Initiated in 1992 as a legacy project of Canada 125, the Trans Canada Trail is the world's longest and grandest recreational trail. When completed, the Trail will stretch nearly 24,000 kilometres from the Atlantic to the Pacific and the Arctic Oceans, linking almost 1,000 communities and more Canadians from coast to coast to coast. Today, four out of five Canadians are within 30 minutes of completed sections of the Trail.
