Service DescriptionEnforces all parking infractions on city streets, including: 3-hour maximum parking bylaw and fire route and handicapped parking violations on private property 
 
Temporary permits for parking on street, call the automated parking exemption line at 905-335-7844 or request online 
 
Parking fines can be paid online, in person, by phone or by mail

Veteran Parking  
Any vehicle with an Ontario veteran licence plate may park for free in any municipal parking space on the first Sunday in May (Battle of the Atlantic), June 6 (D-Day), the Sunday closest to August 19 (Dieppe Raid), September 17 (Battle of Britain) and November 11 (Remembrance Day). 
 
Veteran Parking Exemption Permit is an annual permit that allows eligible veterans to park for free (subject to designated time restrictions) throughout the year at municipal meters, municipal surface lots, Art Gallery of Burlington, 1333 Lakeshore Rd and Sims Square, 390 Brant St.

* eligible veterans include those who served during wartime in the Canadian Forces, including the reserve forces, the forces of the Commonwealth, its allies, the Merchant Navy or Ferry Command; is serving or has served in NATO operations or as a member of the United Nations peacekeeping force; or served in the Vietnam War in the forces of the United States or its allies during that war and was a Canadian citizen at the time
