DescriptionThe primary role of Recreation and Parks is to enhance the quality of life for residents of Halton Hills by assisting and supporting community groups in providing recreation and cultural opportunities. The municipality also provides facilities, services and programs that directly help to fulfill the leisure needs of the community.  
 
Recreational Programs: Aquatics: * swimming lessons * aqua fitness * recreational swimming * advanced lifesaving courses * skills training 
 
Dryland Programs: * preschool * children * youth * adult fitness * instructional sports * social interaction * dance * summer camps * special events * recreational skating 
 
Facilities: operates all Town facilities including pools * Arenas * Cultural Centre * Art Gallery * Theatre * Seniors Centres * Facility Rentals 
 
Parks: a wide variety of outdoor recreational facilities are provided at numerous park sites and other open space areas including sports fields, tennis courts, skate parks and splash pads * park rentals.
