Special Services at Home (SSAH) -- financial assistance for the purchase of in-home supports for children with physical and developmental disabilities and for adults with developmental disabilities

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Benefit (ACSD) -- financial assistance for families who have children with severe physical and developmental disabilities * monthly amount based on severity of disability, family income and special costs incurred

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and under 
 
ACSD -- children 18 years and under with a severe disability which results in functional loss, extraordinary costs incurred by parents because of disability * based on gross family income and size of family * SSAH -- children with a physical or developmental disability resulting in ongoing functional limitations * individuals must reside in Ontario and need help in daily activities and require more support than families can usually offer
