Description (Service) Independent, knowledge-based, charitable organization dedicated to the cause of safety * provide national leadership in safety through information, education and collaboration to reduce preventable death, injuries, economic loss in public and private situations throughout Canada 
Courses: Babysitting Training Course, Home Alone Course, Defensive Driving course * Professional Driver Improvement course * the 55 Alive Mature Driver course (specifically designed to help older drivers improve or review their driving skills) * Motorcycle Course, course on ATV, UTV and snowmobile. 
Online learning: Green Defensive Driving Courses, Motorcycle Safety * Occupational Health and Safety Courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Fire Safety, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Workplace Violence and Harassment 
Public Awareness Campaigns: Annual campaigns reach millions of Canadians through the media and volunteer channels with vital preventive information on farm safety * summer safety * road safety * school safety * community safety and crime prevention * seniors' safety * home fire safety * safe driving
