26 bed facility in West Hamilton, operating as an offsite department of St Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton 
* admissions are voluntary  
* referrals made locally, regionally, provincially 
* direct primary care support is provided for those who do not have a physician  
* direct hospital support provided for medical and psychiatric emergencies as the service is non-medical  
* safe supportive environment  
* telephone support available 24/7 
* information and education sessions related to addiction  
* day and in-house treatment program 
* Aftercare program weekly - face to face or telephone support 
* Emergency shelter beds for women in need of shelter 
The program has been developed using key expertise from: 
* female clients 
* community partners  
* team members 
* evidence-informed literature 
Withdrawal Management: 
* provides a safe, supportive environment for women to withdraw from substance use  
* non-medical setting with medical supports and partnerships 
* psycho-educational and peer-led groups 
* Day or Inhouse provides therapuetic, holistic and educational programming in an evidence-informed six week treatment model  
* Provincial assessment tool and phone assessments are required to determine admission
