Description and Service Details
Description (Service) The Auxiliary Policing Services Unit is comprised of trained civilian volunteers.  
Halton Regional Police Service Auxiliary Officers: 
* support the work of regular police officers on local crime prevention initiatives  
* participate in ground searches for lost or missing persons  
* volunteer at large-scale annual events throughout the year including the Burlington Sound of Music Festival, Special Friends Day and Toys for Tots 
* accompany front line Halton Regional Police Service police officers on weekend patrols
Hours Administration: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
