Description (Service) | Project seeks to integrate identity affirmation with cognitive-behavioural interventions that are already known to work * combined intervention is presented in the form of eight sessions * designed for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and adults * focused on reducing depression and improving coping and sexual self-efficacy * provides opportunities to develop identity cognition (self-awareness, identifying risk), mood (recognizing the link between thoughts and feelings), and behaviour (identifying strengths and ways of coping), as well as equipping with the tools to manage and influence those factors by themselves * new groups are dependent on Host agencies, see website for current offerings Current Groups * 14-18 yrs * 19-29 yrs * adult groups |
