Halton Region Vaccine Program

To get the latest information on Halton Region’s COVID-19 Vaccine Program including who is currently eligible, transportation options and how to book an appointment, please visit halton.ca/COVIDvaccines. Website is being updated as the program progresses, and residents are asked to check regularly for the latest information.  
 
Starting Fri May 14, any Halton resident 30 years of age and older can book a Vaccination appointment through the Region's online booking system 
 
Starting Wed May 19, any Halton resident 16 years of age and older can book a Vaccination appointment through the Region's online booking system 
 
The following groups can now book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment through Halton’s online booking system:
  • Any Halton resident 40 years of age and older 
  • Halton residents 16 years of age and older who cannot work from home 
  • Individuals (age 18 and older) with highest risk and high risk health conditions, now including pregnant individuals 
  • Essential workers (age 18 and older) who cannot work from home (Group 1 as identified by the Province)  
  • Remaining health care workers who live or work in Halton and cannot work from home 
  • Residents 16 years of age and older living in the L9E postal code area 
  • Indigenous Adults (including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit populations) who live in Halton and are 18 years of age or older as well as one immediate household family member who is 18 or older 
  • Staff and essential caregivers from long-term care homes or retirement homes in Halton that have not yet received a first dose 
  • health care workers identified as highest, very high or high priority who live or work in Halton 
  • Adults receiving chronic home care (through a Local Health Integration Network or Home Care Agency)

  • Halton residents can call 311 if they require booking support but please only call 311 if you are unable to book online to ensure those residents requiring support can be assisted 
  • appointments are available for clinic sites in the City of Burlington, Town of Oakville, Town of Milton and Town of Halton Hills 
  • transportation options are available for residents if required; call 3-1-1 for further information 
  • Halton’s Vaccination Clinics are not open to the public and are available by appointment only, there will be no walk-in appointments

Ontario Pharmacy Vaccine Program

Ontario is pausing the rollout and administration of first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine (primarily administered at pharmacy locations) out of an abundance of caution due to an observed increase in the rare blood clotting condition.
