We continue to provide emergency financial assistance when funds allow. Referrals, consultations and support available online across the province. We also assist in finding temporary foster care and rehoming with rescues/shelters. -------------------------------------------- Activities include: Pet consultations * to help guardians who are looking to adopt, foster, rehome, seek financial assistance or talk about the loss of a pet Emergency financial aid * when funds allow, assistance can be provided on a case by case basis * also advise on other organizations that help with financial costs for pets in Ontario Humane education presentations * humane education topics are available to schools - currently available in the Greater Toronto area, London and Guelph * also available to community groups, centres and retirement homes Super Senior Cat Sanctuary * provide adoption and retirement for cats age 13+ at risk of euthanasia in Ontario * provide education and resources on senior cats Kijiji outreach * review online pet related ads and contact individuals to help them find financial aid, lost/found pet resources or animal organizations to assist them |
