  • Information about getting Health Card and Social Insurance Number 
  • Help in finding affordable housing and financial budgeting  
  • Information regarding rights, entitlements, responsibilities, education, health coverage, transportation and more 
  • Advocacy on behalf of the client with professionals (service provider, doctor, court, lawyer, etc.) 
  • Preparation for employment in Canada 
  • Assessing eligibility for social services and financial assistance 
  • Support with orientation about Immigration applications 
  • Citizenship Workshops - assistance with citizenship applications 
  • Parenting Information/Workshop 
  • Assistance in settlement for newcomer families into the Halton school system

  • Commissioner of Oaths: Commissioners of Oath Services are offered at no cost by appointment only
Community Connections Mentorship Program (formerly HOST Program)
  • group activities for newly arrived immigrants and refugees of all ages to help orient them to their new community and establish social and professional networks  
  • trained and experienced volunteer mentors assist with focus on citizenship and civic engagement or skills and career development
Computer classes for beginners focusing on teaching the very basic computer skills: keyboard, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. 
English Conversation Circles helps to build confidence speaking English and meet new people. Groups are offered in Burlington, Oakville and Milton 
English Conversation Circle for seniors: This weekly session helps seniors to learn and practice daily conversation. This program is offered in Burlington, Oakville and Milton. 
Social Circle for Seniors program is a great opportunity to meet other seniors in community. This program is offered in Milton.
