Description (Service) COVID-19 Notice: In alignment with the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s instruction to all Ontario long-term care homes, retirement homes must conduct active screening of all staff and essential visitors. Anyone who fails any part of the screening process will not be allowed in the home.

Private retirement home with 81 units * studio and one bedroom suites * supported independent living

Services included in monthly fees:
  • accommodation and utilities
  • emergency response (voice communication system with nurse call system)
  • wound care/wound dressing
  • meals - special diets accommodated wherever possible
  • bathing assistance (once weekly)
  • supervision of oxygen therapy
  • medication administration (pharmacy costs are the responsibility of the resident)
  • palliative care if needs can be met by the Residence (assessed by Health Services Manager)
  • coordination of doctors and specialists
  • group physio as well as physician-prescribed 1 on 1 physio
  • annual flu shot clinic (flu shot is mandatory)
  • daily bathroom, weekly full housekeeping
  • weekly personal laundry
  • organized clubs and social activities
  • transportation for organized social outings
  • building maintenance
  • in-house cable television, internet and telephone (except long distance charges)
  • rent supplement through Halton Community Housing Corporation (limit of three A suites)
