Description (Service) COVID-19 Notice: In alignment with the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s instruction to all Ontario long-term care homes, retirement homes must conduct active screening of all staff and essential visitors. Anyone who fails any part of the screening process will not be allowed in the home.

139 suites with automatic sprinklers retirement residence * resident capacity of 190 * offers three options: independent living, assisted living, and short stay (i.e. temporary, vacation, convalescent, respite care) when space permits * small pet allowed in the suite

Basic services include:
  • 24 hour nursing staff
  • personal care
  • medication administration
  • emergency response system
  • meals
  • weekly housekeeping
  • linens, bed changes
  • laundry
  • storage locker
  • basic cable and utilities
  • fitness, social and recreational programs including local scheduled excursions on the Amica-On-The-Go bus

Additional for fee services include spa and salon services, underground parking, personal laundry service, private transportation, escort assistance, in-room dining, more frequent housekeeping, bathing assistance, continence care, wound care, medication management, tension stockings, C-PAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) or Bi-PAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure), B12 injections, mechanical or hydraulic lift services and oxygen

Other services available on-site include foot care, hearing clinic, lab services, massage therapy, pharmacy services, physiotherapy, vision care
