Description (Service) | Provides advisory and financial assistance to help clients adjust to the impacts of job loss, or threatened job loss, in the workplace * services are aimed at helping displaced workers secure and maintain employment * clients include individual firms, organizations, employees, communities and sectors * helps workers identify employment and social needs, and secure appropriate support * adjustment committees are often established to ensure full participation of all affected parties in the process |

Eligibility | Ontario employers, and their employees, undergoing downsizing or closure affecting 50 or more employees * communities and entire industrial sectors are also eligible to participate when they are experiencing massive economic or structural changes |
