Description (Service) COVID19 -- Substance Use Service and RAAM Clinic open


Substance Use Service 
  • assessment and ongoing management of substance use disorders
  • brief individual counselling
  • group counselling
  • withdrawal management
  • medication assisted treatment
  • referral to long-term treatment
Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic -- assessment by addictions nurse or counsellor and immediate referral to addictions physician for assistance with stabilization
Hours Substance Use Service Mon-Thu 9 am-4 pm; Fri 9 am-12 noon Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic Mon-Tue, Thu 10 am-12 pm (arrive before 11:30 am)

Eligibility Patients who have problematic use of alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, cannabis or other drugs Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic -- patients in urgent need of an assessment
