Description (Service) | Focus is on partnership, mentorship and workforce development * work to build stronger connections between educators, employers and students * empower students to make informed and inspired career choices and connect with opportunities for experiential learning virtually and in their communities Major programs and services: ApprenticeSearch.com: Connects apprentices and employers using both technology and a people-centered approach * supports applicants who are looking for work in the skilled trades and employers who are looking to recruit new talent Career Development Lab: Offers programs and services that support students as they prepare to transition into high school allowing them to imagine a post-secondary pathway * Career Awareness Program provides students with access to current information on a wide range of career options for a variety of learners Virtual Career Lab: Modelled after the in-house Career Awareness Program for delivery at home and in school Women as Career Coaches (WACC) and Men as Career Coaches (MACC): Annual mentorship events that connect secondary students with adult mentors from a wide variety of career pathways |
