Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) * The Drop In Centre is temporarily CLOSED * if you need shelter, please contact: Adult (25+) Mon-Fri, 7 am-11 pm 226-962-3269 Youth (16-24) Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-4:30 pm 226-962-3574 Youth & Adult (16+) Sat & Sun + overnight 1-844-437-3247 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Volunteer run drop-in centre provides: * 2 full meals a day, light breakfast and snacks * support and liasion with social services * emergency transportation costs assistance * assistance with many baby needs * access to assistance with foot and hair care * outreach workers available from Canadian Mental Health Association, Community Mental Health Clinic and Guelph Community Health Centre * Last Months Rent Fund program assists individuals in obtaining housing * centre will phone landlords and other services to advocate for individuals requiring housing support or assistance with Hydro and Gas Elizabeth's Place: * emergency, overnight accommodation and meals for women and children * total capacity 9 women and children * time at shelter limited to 28 days Stepping Stone: * emergency, overnight accommodation and meals for men * total capacity 17 men * time at shelter limited to 21 days Dwelling Place: * long-term supportive housing for up to 5 adults Yorkhaven: * non-profit housing development offers permanent low rental accommodation those accessing the services of the Welcome in Drop in Centre |
