|Hospital Youth Volunteers||Halton Healthcare Services, Milton District Hospital||Youth volunteers (high school students) assist in chronic care, medical surgical and obstetrics wards, offering meal tray support, friendly visiting and helping out staff on the patient unit. Youth can also be placed on the information desk, or those 16 years of age and older can volunteer in the Gift Shop. They provide help in various area of the hospital particularly in-patient services.
One 2-3 hour shift per week. More than one shift is possible.
