|In - School Mentor||Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton||Each adult volunteer becomes a special friend to one child. Volunteer will spend one hour a week with a boy or girl at the child's school. The volunteer and child will spend time doing activities that are of interest to the child such as playing games, puzzles, crafts, reading, talking or sports. The match is based on fun. Volunteer may volunteer in a school close to their home or their work in the Halton Region.||Adults aged 18 and up||Elementary schools in Halton||Required|
|In-School Mentors||Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton and Burlington, Burlington Office - Rotary Youth Centre||In-School Mentors visit a child at a school once a week for one hour. Together on the school property the student and mentor focus on learning through fun, social, recreational and educational activities. Activities include: sports, crafts, board games, computer time, cooking and reading.||Adults aged 18 and up||Hamilton and Burlington Schools||Required|
|Big Brothers/Big Sisters/Big Couples/Big Families||Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton and Burlington, Burlington Office - Rotary Youth Centre||A volunteer(s) is matched with a little brother or sister between the ages of six and sixteen. Together they spend 2 or 3 hours a week out in the community enjoying shared interests and participating in low cost social, educational and recreational activities. It is highly recommended that the volunteer have access to a vehicle.||Burlington Community||Required|
