Duties

The City of Burlington offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. Choose the area you are interested in volunteering for. The areas available include:

  1. Adult programs
  2. Advisory committees
  3. Animal services
  4. Child, youth and family programs
  5. Community gardens
  6. Festivals and events
  7. Neighbourhood rinks
  8. Skating programs
  9. Student theatre programs
  10. Swimming programs
  11. Tyandaga Golf Course

Volunteer Program Overview Individuals will complete an application for the area which they wish to volunteer in. Application will be reviewed within 5 business days. Volunteer to be notified of any additional requirements, depending on the role. Volunteer to provide all required certifications or documentations and complete all mandatory training. Volunteer application to be approved (pending all requirements have been met).
