Radius Child and Youth Services provides comprehensive assessment and treatment to children, youth and families affected by abuse, neglect and violence.

For the past 15 years the Moon in June Road Race has supported Radius with a charity run. This year's event is bigger and better than ever. We are looking for both teens and adults to help make the Moon in June a success!

Duties

There are several volunteer opportunities to choose from: (you can choose more than 1)

  •  
  • Road Marshalls - 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm - Cheer on and direct the runners on the race course. This is a fun job with everyone working in groups of 2 -4 people. Road Marshalls will be taken out on the course by bus and picked up at the end of the race. ONLY A FEW SPOTS LEFT for teens. We are also looking for ADULT volunteers.
  • Beer Tent - ADULTS ONLY/SMART SERVE CERTIFIED - 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Volunteers are needed to sell beer tickets, serve beer and wine.
  • Security - ADULTS ONLY - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Direct participants, ensure that people are following the rules for the beer and wine.
  • Tear Down - 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Starting at 7:00 pm by helping tear-down and clean up Kidsfest, you will then move to the main event at Burlington Town square to help with tear-down and clean up. Some heavy lifiting, must be able to work alone and in a group.
