ORGANIZATION INFORMATION
Big Brothers Big Sisters enables life-changing mentoring relationships. Our vision is that all young people realize their full potential.

Our mentoring programs are interventions, helping empower young people to realize their potential. 80% of the young people involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters are experiencing 3-5 Adverse Childhood Experiences, which are forms of social, emotional or economic challenges. With the support of volunteer mentors and our community, we are able to provide 1,200 young people and their families with mentoring services each year.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Big Brothers Big Sisters is now recruiting Volunteer Mentors for 1:1 and Group Programs.

While time commitments vary by program type, we typically require a minimum voluntary investment of two hours per week. We understand that everyone has their own commitments, and try our best to accommodate student and volunteers schedules.

Our program portfolio continues to grow to reflect the needs of the communities we serve. Programs take place in one-to-one or group settings, during school hours or outside of them.

1:1 PROGRAM:  BIGS COMMUNITY MATCHING
The Bigs Community Mentoring Program provides young people (Littles) an adult mentor (Bigs).

Bigs help provide developmental relationships to our young people. This means, they express care, challenge growth, provide support, share power and expand opportunities.

Bigs and Littles meet for community outings once a week for two hours or more. Matches are made based on the Big and Little's interests, personalities and geographical location.  "
