Halton Baby-Friendly Initiative (HBFI) is a non-profit community coalition consisting of health care professionals and people who support breastfeeding and promotes the Baby-Friendly Initiative in the Halton Community. Our mission is to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in our community by facilitating the implementation of the Baby-Friendly Initiative.

Duties

- Support the vision, mission and goals of HBFI  
- Attend monthly in person or virtual meetings as able  
- Participate in meetings and workgroups as able (workgroups may be related to social media, printed resources, planning and hosting events, celebrating Canadian or World Breastfeeding Week, etc.)

Benefits Halton BFI membership is an opportunity to work with an engaged group of individuals who are passionate about the mission and is open to anyone who is interested in promoting the Baby-Friendly Initiative.  
Members do not need to have any breastfeeding experience, they simply need to want to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding in Halton.
