DutiesMentors are paired a skilled newcomer from their profession. They assist a mentee in:  
•understanding the Canadian context of their profession and workplace culture  
•gathering information on their occupation and industry  
•improving job search strategies and networks

ClientsClients are job-ready skilled immigrants who have at least two years of international work experience in their profession before coming to Canada

Skills/ExperienceAccounting & Finance ; Communication & Interpersonal Skills ; Leadership ; Mentoring & Training - experience an asset but not required ; Mentors should have at least 2 years of professional experience in the Accounting field.

TrainingAn orientation is provided for Mentors prior to meeting their mentee. Mentors also have access to on-line resources, professional development sessions and the support of a mentoring coach throughout their mentoring relationship.
