Description (Service) Neighbourhood multi-service agency

Settlement and integration programs, information and orientation sessions, referral to appropriate services, educational workshops, form filling, skills development, counselling, translation and interpretation. support for seniors

Employment Services -- helps immigrants find meaningful employment * counsellors work closely with newcomers facing employment difficulties, to develop their job search skills * needs assessment, one-on-one job search coaching, pre-employment workshops conducted in a computerized environment, personalized action plan * post-program follow-up and support, job leads, networking events, access to computers, printers, telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, internet

Information and Awareness Services -- help newcomers adapt to and settlement in Canada including information and orientation on immigration, health, education and housing * employment related assistance * translation and interpretation * forms filling * referrals to government and community resources * supportive counselling for individuals and families * monthly information seminars

Multicultural Settlement And Education Partnership -- a partnership with Peel District School Board, the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada * MSEP Brampton offers services placing settlement workers in elementary, middle and high schools across Brampton
