Description (Service) Community based partnership of persons with disabilities and anyone interested in working collaboratively to affect positive changes for persons with disabilities

Offers the following programs in various locations across the communities of Peel Halton and Dufferin:

Employment Access - one-stop employment service for all persons with disabilities wishing to access assistance in preparing for, obtaining and maintaining competitive employment
Awareness Workshops- Accessible customer service workshops to meet AODA requirements and Disability awareness workshops to promote the integration of persons with disabilities within society
Work Readiness for Youth is an innovative program that includes a paid 8 week essential employment skills workshop followed by a 7 week work experience
Employment PAH! Workshop is a workshop designed specifically for individuals that are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and fluent in ASL to learn fundamental employability skills
Connections Resource Fair, an annual event that showcases organizations who offer services, supports or products related to persons with disabilities

All services are available to deaf clients * offers workshops, employment, counselling, job development, job coaching, and Work Readiness programs to deaf clients * several staff, including reception, are fluent in ASL

Languages English ; American Sign Language (ASL) ; All services are available to deaf clients * offers workshops, employment, counselling, job development, job coaching, and Work Readiness programs to deaf clients * 4 staff members are fluent in ASL, two are Deaf and two are hearing * both the Brampton and Mississauga locations offer intake, workshop and counselling in ASL * one Deaf staff member is able to travel to the Orangeville location to complete intake and counselling appointments that are barrier free
