Description and Service Details
Description (Service) The HRCIF supports non-profit community health and social service programs that support the health and well-being of Halton residents. There are three categories of funding:  
 
Category One:  
* provides one-year funding to non-profit, charitable and unincorporated community organizations for short-term, innovative or small capital projects 
* grants are awarded up to a maximum of to $20,000 
 
Category Two:  
* provides up to three years of program funding to charitable organizations  
 
Category Three:  
* provides funding to programs that increase access to food and enhance the ability of food security programs to respond to the needs of Halton residents 
 
* there is an annual proposal call for each category of funding
