Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Programs and services offered by the Recreation and Culture department work towards being accessible and inclusive to all members of the community. 
 
Special needs include: 
* intellectual or physical disabilities  
* attention and behaviour difficulties  
* vision and hearing impairments  
* learning disabilities  
* allergies  
* medical conditions  
* medication use 
 
* a Participant Profile must accompany every registration where a medical, developmental or physical condition exists  
* this information will be shared with instructional staff only 
 
* support workers are welcome to attend all programs 
* a fee may or may not be assessed depending on the activity 
* staff may request additional personal information from the support worker for emergency purposes 
* even though programs and services are integrated, some individuals may need additional accommodations to participate 
* call to request accommodations 
 
* visit the website for information on specialized programs
