Description (Service) | Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) The Women's Centre of Halton has suspended all in-person interaction. All workshops, in-person peer support, legal clinics and tax clinic have been suspended indefinitely. The Legal Clinics (Oakville & Milton site) are operating Virtually and by appointment Peer support continues to be offered via telephone - please call 905-847-5520 --------------------------------------------------- A free legal clinic with volunteer lawyers from across Halton Region Lawyers volunteer on a rotating schedule in the following areas: * employment law/human rights * family law * immigration law * criminal law |
Hours | Usually every Mon - call ahead or check the website for the schedule * doors open at 6 pm, first time slot is as 6:30 pm * time slots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis so attendees are encouraged to arrive early |
