Service DescriptionThe branches of the Oakville Public Library offer a number of programs for children throughout the year including special summer programs and PD Day events. 
 
Programs and events include:

* Christmas Break programs  
* Summer Reading Club

* arts and crafts camps  
Not all programs are available at all locations.

Book Nooks were created to provide access to library books in non library environments  
* lending works on the honour system so no library card is required: 
* YMCA of Oakville 
* Kerr Street Ministries  
* Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre 
* Halton Multicultural Council, main location 
* Glen Oaks Cooperative Housing 
* Oakville Parent-Child Centre, Sixth Line and North Service Road locations
