Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Shares information and resources with member environmental groups, businesses, governments, other non-profit organizations and the publicand has been effectively engaging Halton for over 10 years. 
* produces an ecoguide to environmental sustainability 
 
Programs: 
Greening Sacred Spaces Halton-Peel chapter:  
* assists faith communities in creating sustainable and energy efficient place of worship and educate about ecological issues 
 
Halton Green Screens: 
* environmental film screenings in public venues and schools 
 
Halton Food Council: 
* encourage and facilitate dialogue and collaboration among food related organizations, agencies, services, food producers and producers, consumers, business and government 
 
Halton Waste Challenge: 
* challenge-based program to bring awareness to the amount of garbage produced every day * offered in schools, faith-based organizations, businesses, community centres, senior residences and community groups
