Goal is to clean, rehabilitate and maintain these areas to increase species diversity, improve water flow, reduce stagnant water to control mosquito breeding and plant native tree and shrubs

Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Connects with municipality, the Halton Region Conservation Authority and many committees to ensure that all are aiding in the preservation of Lake Ontario's waterways 
Services include: 
* educating residents backing onto creeks by inviting them to clean-ups in their 'backyard'  
* keeping people interested in the 'big picture' of cleaning Lake Ontario  
* explaining how all creeks contribute to the well being of the Lake  
* instructing students on running their own Eco-groups for restoration and school projects 
High school students, scouts and guides, and community members are encouraged to volunteer and receive community service hours needed to graduate and vital badges
